You will begin your journey with an early morning flight to Paro, Bhutan (please verify flight timings). The flight from Delhi or Kathmandu is renowned for its stunning views, offering a glimpse of the world’s ten highest peaks. Upon arrival at Paro International Airport, you will be greeted by our guide and transferred to Thimphu (1.5-hour drive).
After lunch, visit the Memorial Chorten, a revered temple built in honor of Bhutan’s 3rd King, and a popular gathering place for elderly locals engaged in prayer. Continue to Changangkha Lhakhang, the oldest temple in the valley, offering stunning views. Visit the Motithang Takin Preserve, home to Bhutan’s unique national animal, the takin. Next, drive to the Buddha Dordenma Statue, the largest Buddha statue in Bhutan, overlooking the Thimphu valley.
In the evening, explore Tashichho Dzong, the impressive fortress housing the King’s throne, followed by a leisurely walk through Thimphu’s vibrant town.

Begin your day at the Weekend Market (Friday–Sunday), where locals sell fresh produce and handicrafts. Visit the Institute of Zorig Chusum (Arts & Crafts School) to witness students mastering Bhutan’s 13 traditional arts. Explore the Folk Heritage Museum to experience the lifestyle of Bhutanese ancestors.
Later, visit the National Library, which houses ancient religious manuscripts, followed by a visit to Dechenphodrang Monastic School, where you can interact with young monks. Continue to Zilukha Nunnery for a unique cultural experience.
Overnight: Six Senses Thimphu / Taj Tashi
After breakfast, drive towards Dochula Pass (3,100m). If the weather is clear, enjoy spectacular views of Bhutan’s highest peaks stretching across the horizon. Walk around the newly built Druk Wangyal Chortens (108 stupas) before continuing towards Punakha.
Upon arrival, visit Punakha Dzong, an architectural masterpiece at the confluence of the Pho Chhu and Mo Chhu rivers. After lunch, enjoy a scenic hike through paddy fields to Chimi Lhakhang, the temple of fertility.

Start your day with a short hike to Khamsum Yulley Namgyal Chorten, offering breathtaking valley views. Optionally, enjoy white-water rafting along the Pho Chhu River.
Spend the afternoon indulging in a hot stone bath at your luxury resort, followed by a private meditation session at a nearby monastery.

Retrace your drive back to Paro, stopping at picturesque villages along the way. Upon arrival, visit Paro Dzong, a stunning fortress, and walk across Bhutan’s oldest wooden cantilever bridge. Stroll through Paro’s traditional town and explore local handicraft shops.

Early morning, embark on a 3-hour uphill hike to Taktsang Monastery (Tiger’s Nest), perched dramatically on a cliffside.
